  • Gary

    Director

I have spent the past 13 years in the outdoor adventure industry and love bringing joy and adventure into peoples lives. As a Cullercoats local, I love seeing the bay bustling with watersports and people enjoying our beautiful beaches.

  • Simon

    Senior Guide

I have worked in the Outdoor Education Industry since 2013. I’m a keen paddle boarder and hiker in my spare time. I really enjoy taking clients out on the water, whether you’re exploring Newcastle’s Quayside or trying to stand up on a SUP for the first time.

  • Katie

    Senior Guide

I have paddle boarded for over 5 years now and made my love for the outdoors into my job. I’m usually busy being active, whether that’s fitness, walking the dog or sea dipping. Always up for a laugh and encourage people to try something new, you might find a new passion!

  • Sarah

    Education & Groups Manager

As a former secondary school teacher, I fully understand the complexities of organising off-site visits. Therefore, my role is to make your experience as seamless as possible.

In my spare time, there is nothing I like better than to spend time with my family enjoying the Northumberland coast, taking in a bit of paddle boarding, swimming and running whenever possible.

I tried paddle boarding for the first time 7 years ago in Cullercoats Bay and now I love nothing more than being out on the water! Being able to share that feeling with others by being a water sports instructor is something I’m very grateful for.

  • Susie

    Store / Hires Team

Having grown up by the sea I am happiest in, on or by the water whether that's swimming, cold water dipping, paddling or diving.

  • Simon

    Store / Hires Team

I’ve lived by the sea all my life and have enjoyed many years of training others to use powered craft. Switching to the world of SUPs and kayaks is a challenge I’m looking forward to taking up.

  • Gill

    Guide

Five years ago I stepped onto a paddleboard and my love for the sea grew from there.

It's a great privilege to share this love with people new to paddleboarding and being a part of their experience.

  • Phoebe

    Store / Hires Team

After a busy day on the football pitch, the sea is the perfect place to relax. I enjoy being active and the North East has some of the best beaches in the world - how lucky are we!!

  • Julia

    Guide

I had my first paddle board lesson at CBK in 2019 and was hooked immediately. The sea is definitely my happy place, if I'm not paddling on it, I'll be walking my dogs on the beach getting some vitamin sea.

  • Bobby

    Store / Hires Team

Living on the North East coast, I love spending time at the beach and being active! In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and walking as it helps improve and repair your body physically and mentally.

  • Sonja

    Guide

Growing up, my dad introduced me to kayaking at a very young age. After a long break working as a graphic designer, I moved to England and rediscovered my passion through surf kayaking.

Now I can't imagine a life without kayaking or paddleboarding and I want to share my enthusiasm for nature and the outdoors!

  • Dylan

    Store / Hires Team

Often found on a hillside camping, loving the water and getting out amongst nature.
