Mindful Morning

It’s becoming increasingly important to look after your mental health, and meditation has been proven to be one of the most effective ways of combating stress. By focussing our attention inward, we’re able to harness more control over our thoughts and relax both body and mind. We know that this can be quite a difficult practice to do on your own, and it can be tough to prioritise your mental health with so much going on in our busy day to day lives.

We’re collaborating with local legend Holly Walsh, of Balance and Breathe yoga. Holly is going to be offering a group meditation in our relaxation tent on Cullercoats Bay, available to book as a group, or individually.

Price: £15 per person, for a 60 minute meditation.

Venue: Meet us down on Cullercoats Bay, between the Caves and the Dove Marine Laboratory. The session will start at the time on your booking, so aim to be at the beach about 10 minutes earlier to give yourself time to ease into it.

This beginner friendly session takes place on the beautiful Cullercoats Bay in our cosy relaxation tent. You can enjoy the session either lying down or seated, however don’t feel pressure to remain in the same position for the full duration.

Through the art of meditation you’ll learn how to welcome thoughts that benefit and serve you, and how to let go of thoughts that are not ‘needed’ in the moment.

Holly completed ger 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 through Yoga x Life, and since then has been teaching yoga full time.

Her classes are heavily centered around cultivating a peaceful mind and exploring breathwork / pranayama, making for a very relaxed practice.
