After School Kids Club
Packed with kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, beach games and maybe even a pier jump or two for the brave. Wednesday nights from 5pm-6.30pm (arrive by 4.30pm to change). Our kids clubs are bookable in half-term blocks, between Easter and October Half Term. Suitable for ages 7-12 years.
All equipment and a 5mm wetsuit is provided, all your kids need is swimwear, a towel / change robe, an old pair of trainers or water shoes.

Who is this activity suitable for?
This activity is suitable for children ages 7 to 12 years old (older children are welcome). It is important that your child is:
Able to swim short distances unaided and/or feels comfortable floating in water
Is not fearful of open water
Is able to put on a wetsuit unaided. If not, we ask that parents assist on the first day.
What do the kids do?
We are an award winning watersports activity provider, so you won’t be surprised the kids are gonna get wet! But the programme is pretty diverse and would suit any child with an interest in the outdoors and the marine environment. Activities typically include:
Kayaking
Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)
Bodyboarding
Rock pooling
Water safety & lifeguarding skills
RNLI station guided tours
Beach games
Where do I pick up and drop off?
You pick up and drop off from our Cullercoats CBK Adventures Hub. Drop off is 16.30pm (if needing to get changed) or 17.00pm (ready on arrival), pickup is at 18.30pm. We use a password system to ensure your child only departs with an authorised adult.
What do you provide?
Professional instructors who will be with the group at all times. All instructors have Enhanced DBS checks and Safeguarding Training.
Small group coaching. Our instructor to participant ratio is 1:8
Multiple watersports activities
All equipment required for the sessions
Warm 5mm wetsuit, buoyancy aid and all required safety equipment
What do I need to bring?
Footwear that you don’t mind getting wet (eg. water shoes or old trainers). Barefoot is also fine.
Swimwear for under your wetsuit
Towel / change robe, dry clothes and dry shoes for afterwards
On warm days, water for hydration and suncream to protect your skin
